Senior Vice President, Chief Investment Officer of Equities and Multi-Asset Strategies
Charles Schwab Investment Management, Inc.
Omar Aguilar is Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of Equities and Multi-Asset Strategies for Charles Schwab Investment Management, Inc. (CSIM). He is responsible for CSIM's equity and asset allocation mutual funds and ETFs.
Mr. Aguilar has more than 20 years of broad investment management experience in the equity markets, including managing index, quantitative equity, asset allocation, and multi-manager strategies. Prior to joining CSIM in April 2011, Mr. Aguilar was with Financial Engines, where he was responsible for managing more than $40 billion in assets from leading retirement plan sponsors in the defined contribution market. Prior to that, he served as head of quantitative equity for ING Investment Management (now known as Voya Investment Management), building and developing the group and managing more than $20 billion in assets with 15 global active, index, and enhanced index strategies for pension funds, variable annuities, and mutual funds. Mr. Aguilar also served as head of quantitative research for Lehman Brothers' alternative investment management business and as a director of quantitative research and a portfolio manager with both Merrill Lynch Investment Management and Bankers Trust.
Mr. Aguilar was a Fulbright Scholar at Duke University's Institute of Statistics and Decisions Sciences, where he earned a Master of Science and a doctorate. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in actuarial sciences and a graduate degree in applied statistics from the Mexico Autonomous Institute of Technology (ITAM).

Brett Wander is Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of Fixed Income for Charles Schwab Investment Management, Inc. (CSIM). He is responsible for all aspects of the firm's fixed-income and money market portfolios, leading a team of more than 20 investment professionals.
With more than 25 years of investment management experience, Mr. Wander has been intimately involved in the design, development, and oversight of a wide range of active, indexed, and alternative fixed-income strategies. His expertise spans a wide range of global and domestic markets and sectors. Prior to joining CSIM in June 2011, Mr. Wander was a senior managing director at State Street Global Advisors, where he managed and directed the firm's $30 billion active fixed-income enterprise. He also held senior fixed-income leadership positions at Loomis Sayles, State Street Research, and Payden & Rygel. In those roles, he designed investment processes, developed risk management methodologies, managed investment teams, and consistently generated strong investment performance track records.
Mr. Wander has published several articles on a variety of investment topics, including risk management, asset allocation, analysis and use of hedge funds, application of quantitative investment approaches, and other topics focusing on both theoretical and practical investment concepts. He is a frequent industry speaker, presenting at conferences and in various media forums. He has taught Master level investment courses at the University of Southern California.
Mr. Wander earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in system science engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is a CFA® charterholder.

Jake Gilliam is a Director and Head Client Portfolio Strategist, Multi-Asset Strategies for Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., supporting Charles Schwab Investment Management, Inc. (CSIM). He provides strategic leadership for CSIM's multi-asset and sub-advised investment strategies, as well as for the firm's portfolio construction framework. Mr. Gilliam also participates in CSIM's Asset Allocation and Sub-Advisor Oversight Committees and represents CSIM's multi-asset class strategies and framework to the institutional marketplace, clients, and the media.
Previously, Mr. Gilliam was the senior portfolio manager for Charles Schwab Trust Bank's Collective Investment Trusts and the head of sub-advisor oversight for CSIM. Additionally, Mr. Gilliam served as the interim head of asset allocation and portfolio manager for all of CSIM's multi-asset class funds. Prior to these roles, he oversaw the due diligence process for maintaining the Schwab Focus List. Earlier in his career, Mr. Gilliam was a sell-side equity research associate.
Mr. Gilliam earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from Ohio University, and is a member of the Ohio University College of Business Finance Advisory Council. He is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Cleveland. He holds Series 7 and 66 licenses.

Director, Portfolio Strategist

Peter Bobick is a Director and Portfolio Strategist supporting the Investment Only business channel of Charles Schwab Investment Management (CSIM). Mr. Bobick works closely with portfolio managers and investment analysts, and serves as the key point of contact for clients to keep them current on the investment process and performance of various investment strategies. He also supports the business development team by lending technical support during the sales process and in onboarding new clients.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Bobick served as a senior consultant in the Retirement Investment Services group. He managed many key client relationships with combined retirement assets in excess of $10 billion. Before joining Schwab in 2004, Mr. Bobick worked as a registered investment adviser with a large independent broker-dealer, specializing in the institutional and high net worth markets.
Mr. Bobick earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio) and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. He holds Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses.

Vice President, Head of Multi-Asset Strategies

John Greves is a Vice President and Head of Multi-Asset Strategies for Charles Schwab Investment Management, Inc. (CSIM). In this role, Mr. Greves is responsible for overseeing the Multi-Asset Portfolio Management, Sub-Advisor Oversight, and Quantitative Solutions teams. He maintains accountability for multi-asset investment processes including team research and implementation, and also contributes to the firm's efforts to continually enhance investment outcomes. The Multi-Asset Strategies team is responsible for management of all CSIM multi-asset portfolios, including target date, balanced, monthly income, and multi-manager funds.
Prior to joining CSIM in June 2016, Mr. Greves worked at Russell Investment Management Company (Russell Investments) for 13 years, most recently as a portfolio manager for multi-asset solutions where he managed multiple target date funds, chaired the multi-asset advisory team, and co-authored papers on glide path methodology and benchmarking. Prior to that, he served in several roles for Russell Investments including associate portfolio manager for multi-asset solutions and senior portfolio analyst for multi-asset solutions.
Mr. Greves earned a Bachelor of Science in computer science and business from the University of Puget Sound. He is a CFA® charterholder.

Tony Creasy is a Senior Portfolio Manager on the Multi-Asset Strategies Team for CSIM. He is responsible for the daily management of several multi-asset portfolios including the Schwab Managed Retirement Trusts™, Schwab Indexed Retirement Trusts®, and several asset class-specific collective investment trusts (each of the trusts is sponsored and maintained by Charles Schwab Trust Bank and CSIM provides non-discretionary investment management).
Prior to his current role, Mr. Creasy spent several years as lead analyst of the CSIM Sub-Advisor Oversight Team and as a voting member of the CSIM Sub-Advisor Oversight Committee. Mr. Creasy joined Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. in 2005 as an institutional investment analyst for Schwab's retirement investment services group, providing mutual fund analysis to support the Schwab Focus List™.
Mr. Creasy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in financial economics from Bowling Green State University. He is a CFA® charterholder.

Daniel Piquet is a Portfolio Manager on the Multi-Asset Strategies Team for CSIM. He is responsible for supporting the daily management of several multi-asset portfolios including the Schwab Managed Retirement Trusts, Schwab Indexed Retirement Trusts, and several asset class-specific collective investment trusts (each of the trusts is sponsored and maintained by Charles Schwab Trust Bank and CSIM provides non-discretionary investment management).
Prior to joining CSIM, Mr. Piquet spent two years as an analyst at Santander Asset Management providing sub-adviser oversight in the firm's global multi-asset solutions team. Before that, he was a portfolio analyst with Natixis Global Asset Management, performing portfolio risk analysis as well as equity, fixed-income, and alternative mutual fund research. He also spent six years at The Vanguard Group, including two years as an investment analyst.
Mr. Piquet earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Drexel University.

Managing Director, Multi-Asset Quantitative Solutions

Emre Erdogan is a Managing Director on the CSIM Multi-Asset Quantitative Solutions Team. He leads the team and is responsible for designing and implementing asset allocation models for Schwab's multi-asset strategies. His role includes researching strategic asset allocation, maintaining and enhancing glide paths for Schwab's target date funds, and strengthening portfolio construction and risk management capabilities.
Prior to joining CSIM in 2011, Mr. Erdogan was a quantitative developer in the research & development group at Bloomberg L.P., where he built U.S. and international equity and fixed-income multi-factor risk models. He was also a quantitative analyst at ING Investment Management.
Mr. Erdogan earned a Master of Science and a doctorate in operations research from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Middle East Technical University, Turkey. He is a CFA® charterholder.
